Parental Allowance

Parental Benefit (Civil Servant and Teacher Insurance)

  1. Up to 6 months of leave without pay for each child.
  2. 60% of the average salary over the past 6 months.
  3. 20% additional payment of the average salary after July 1, 2021.

*When both the insured and his/her spouse under civil servant insurance and they apply for parental leave (without pay) for the same child at the same time, they are eligible to receive parental leave benefits simultaneously

Death of Family Member

Old-Age Benefit

1. Lump-sum payment: Retirees (or Resignees) over the age of 55 with over 15 years of coverage

2. Monthly payments: Eligible for 1 who are over the age of 65 with over 15 years of coverage; over the age of 60 with over 20 years of coverage; over the age of 55 with over 30 years of coverage

The Defined Benefit Plan is a lump-sum payment only.

Disability Benefit

1. Total disability: 36 months (on duty); 30 months (off duty).

2. Half disability: 18 months (on duty); 15 months (off duty).

3. Partial disability: 8 months (on duty); 6 months (off duty)

1. Held jointly by NCCU units; can be held separately for numerous participants (once a year per unit)

2. In principle, on weekend / holidays in Taiwan

Budget: Annual NT$1,000/day, with additional NT$400/day for the leader

Day trips by principle. The head of the organization shall designate a leader, provide a proposal and list of participants, and notify the Personnel Office and Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office 2 weeks in advance for approval by the President.

1. Only the spouses and direct relatives of current faculty and retirees are allowed as companions.

2. Transportation rentals require a written contract and Participant Travel Accident Insurance.
